    Oh dear, Oscar Piastri's McLaren has slowed down but the Australian hasn't stopped and manages to continue to drive slowly around the track to get his car back to the pits.

    George Russell has returned to the Mercedes garage. It looks like his session is done.

    The constructors' leaders have been a little quiet in FP1.

    Russell is eighth and Kimi Antonelli is sixth.

    Away camping this weekend and one of my friends has somehow forgot their tent! Thankfully realised before we'd got too far where I'd refuse to turn around, so we could go and get it!

    We went on a camping trip once and forgot the tent.

    Rookie Jak Crawford is in Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin for this session.

    The American has a lap time of 1:54.560 and has completed 14 laps so far.

    The TV camera has zoomed in on a little teddy bear dressed as a marshall sat at the end of the pit wall.

    Teddy is putting in a hell of a shift today.

    The two Ferraris have moved up on the leaderboard now.

    Lewis Hamilton is second and Charles Leclerc third.

    They have both won a race each, in Barcelona and Silverstone - can one of them take the chequered flag on Sunday?

    Max Verstappen takes a quick trip to the pits and gets some medium tyres bolted on. Also on the mediums are Kimi Antonelli, Oscar Piastri, Oliver Bearman, Esteban Ocon and the two Aston Martins.

    Franco Colapinto is the only driver with the hard tyres on. Everyone else has the red softs bolted on for FP1.

    After the 2026 season, the race in Spa will be in rotation with Barcelona on the F1 calendar, until at least 2032.

    For fans of Spa-Francorchamps, the race will be on the calendar in 2027, 2029, and 2031.

    And the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix will be held in 2028, 2030, and 2032.

    He's set a lap time and put his car up into eighth.

    Meanwhile, Max Verstappen has put his car fastest in this session. 1:47.070 for the Red Bull.

    I've had a little think about what I'd say - I think it has to be forgetting revision notes on the day of my exams, worst thing to happen ever.

    It all worked out but I could not panic cram revision before my 9AM GCSE exam.

    Isack Hadjar is still the fastest driver out on the track, followed by his Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen. The two Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are third and fourth. Gabriel Bortoleto's Audi makes up the top five.

    Kimi Antonelli is on a fast lap but gets into traffic behind Carlos Sainz.

    "Sainz, what an idiot!," the young driver says but Sainz is quick to apologise and they continue on with their drives.

    Meanwhile, Isack Hadjar has also been on the radio to say his legs are touching his hands. Uh oh, too close to the steering wheel.
