England manager Thomas Tuchel on his side's busy schedule: "We are still in a place where we can use everyone. Once we travel back, have another flight and another bus trip until we are finally in London and then only a two-day turnaround, it becomes a time when we have to take into consideration if we want to keep intensity in the games, we may have to lose some matches from the schedule.

"I told you before these two and half weeks I'd love to give responsibility to the core of the team. I am still in that place. I think for tomorrow, we are quite free in our choice and then, maybe it could be a problem for the fourth game."

We are awaiting the arrival of Jordan Pickford, by the way, but we'll still be dropping in Thomas Tuchel's quotes as we wait.

England manager Thomas Tuchel on facing Croatia boss Slaven Bilic: "We don't know what's coming. The coach before was very fluid and switching between back four and back five. With Bilic for two matches, he has gone with a back four. But we never know. It might be a surprise.

"It makes it a little difficult because we don't have evidence with Bilic as Croatia coach. But sometimes it makes it easier because you don't prepare for every scenario you see. You just have two matches.

"Hopefully we can implement our style. Croatia can hurt any team and it's important to break the rhythm and it's basically the task for tomorrow."

England

England manager Thomas Tuchel on selecting players that aren't playing the top flight if Manchester City are relegated: "There is always a possibility. I would always try to pick the best team for the camp, occasion, the tournament. I will never rule out that because they don't play in the top flight in their country. We need to look at it case by case."

England manager Thomas Tuchel on playing the Nations League match against Croatia behind closed doors: "First of all, I am happy for the children who will be at the match tomorrow that they have the chance to come and watch the game and players that close. I am glad that our 100 or 200 fans have the chance to be here. It means a lot to us. The most loyal fans have the chance to watch the game.

"To be behind closed doors, it's never nice. It's a strange atmosphere. Everyone would love the atmosphere in the stadium - a proper football crowd which would be very, very difference. This is a part we have to take into consideration. We cannot switch off and be in holiday mood. It might feel a bit like pre-season but it's not. It's a crucial match in the Nations League."

Thomas Tuchel labelled Croatia midfielder Luka Modric as a "true legend of the game".

He added that he can't wait to see former player Matteo Kovacic and called him a "special player".

We have been seven weeks together in the United States, so we have a great bond. To be here in this beautiful place and train in this environment, what is not to love.

"We expect a difficult match tomorrow against a big football nation and a proud country - a side full of quality. A mix of young and experienced players with a young coach. Everyone will be ready to give all for the new coach.

"It feels like a cup game - a cup semi-final maybe. I am a huge fan of your players. They have a lot of quality technically and big competitors. It's a promising game.

It has made a huge difference for us to have three days in between so that we could take care of players with high output like Elliot Anderson and Anthony Gordon for example.

"Everyone has been at training today except for Nico O'Reilly who had to leave camp to get treatment and leave as soon as possible. His discomfort was too painful and he couldn't be on the pitch. So that's the only one unavailable.
