On the balance of the game a draw probably feels like a fair result. HJK Helsinki controlled the first half, while Motherwell, particularly at the start of the second, looked the better side.

Still, a draw to take back to Fir Park for the second leg next week is a very decent result and one you've got to assume visiting manager Alfred Johansson will be happy with.
