Celtic made it back to back SWPL wins, as they beat Montrose, but despite the 3-0 scoreline the win didn't come easily.

After being thwarted by the woodwork three times in a frustrating first half, Celtic then struggled to get the better of the visiting goalkeeper Lauren Perry, who produced a few fine saves to keep the home side at bay.

Grant Scott made changes midway through the second half, and it was one of the substitutions who finally broke the deadlock, Casey Howe scoring with powerful shot on 82 minutes.

Montrose no doubt felt aggrieved at conceding so late. Not only had they played well, but before that they had goal disallowed for handball in the build up.

After their opener Celtic added another two strikes. Maria McAney curled in a cracker, then Issy Fisher sealed the win with a beauty from distance.
