    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

More impressive work from Badredine Bouanani as the Rangers winger nutmegs his man then races past another two.

The shot doesn't match the build-up though as it whistles well wide.

  2. 'Calm heads required'published at 19:02 GMT

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on Premier Sports

If Aberdeen show just a little bit of composure when clearing their lines they could mount a counter-attack.

  3. 'Devlin doing the business'published at 19:01 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

    Andy Halliday
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Nicky Devlin has been absolutely terrific for Aberdeen. It's a surprise to me how he has been out of the Aberdeen team for so long.

  4. Bouanani key for Rangerspublished at 19:00 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland at Hampden

Badredine Bouanani has been hands down Rangers' biggest threat.

Every time he gets the ball, something happens.

The pressure is intensifying but Aberdeen, to their credit, are defending with everything they've got.

Aberdeen are poor but on this showing Rangers aren't far behind, what a poor advert for Scottish football, Hibs or Hearts will fancy their chances in the final

  6. 'Too dramatic' from the goalie?published at 18:58 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on Premier Sports

Sometimes I look at Marius Muller and wonder if he's a bit too dramatic with his saves, he allows Rangers to keep it alive.

  7. Postpublished at 18:58 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

James Penrice is back in his usual left-back role now and wins a corner for his team.

The ball falls to Nico Raskin, who draws a flashy save from Marius Muller. An effort from Dan Neil is then deflected over.

  8. Double change for Rangerspublished at 18:56 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Dan Neil, with some strapping on his thigh, and Djeidi Gassama are on for Rangers.

Off go Tuur Rommens and Kim Min-su.

  9. Postpublished at 18:55 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Badredine Bouanani twists one way, then another, in a busy penalty area before his low shot is blocked by Nicky Devlin at the near post.

  10. 'Real bad miss'published at 18:53 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on Premier Sports

He's got to score. He's got a free header, he gets in behind Nicky Devlin and it's wonderful ball from Bouanani but Kelsy completely mistimes it.

    That's a real bad miss.

Kevin Kelsy with a free header in front of goal. He has to score!

Instead he skews the ball wide.

What a chance for the Rangers striker.

  12. Postpublished at 18:51 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Kevin Nisbet threatens to get away from the Rangers defence but doesn't have the pace.

He cuts inside to have a shot and a deflection makes it an easy save for Ivor Pandur

  13. Postpublished at 18:49 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Mitchy Ntelo's first contribution is very odd as the Aberdeen sub stoops to meet a cross from Stuart Armstrong. Or was he trying to get out of the way?

An absolute mess either way... He had room in the penalty box too.

  14. Postpublished at 18:47 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen make a change up front as Mitchy Ntelo takes over from Ayoub Mouloua.

  15. CLOSE!published at 18:46 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Badredine Bouanani dips a shoulder and takes aim for the far corner with a raking shot.

A sliding Ryan Naderi is not far away from nudging the ball in as it zooms wide.

  16. Postpublished at 18:42 GMT

Has the James Penrice in midfield ploy worked?

No shortage of energy but Rangers boss Derek McInnes might want a bit more creativity in that area.

After an awkward tangle of legs, James Penrice limps off behind the goal and Dan Neil is warming up as play resumes.

  19. Postpublished at 18:36 GMT

    Rangers 0-0 Aberdeen

Rangers on the attack immediately as a cross from Badredine Bouanani just eludes James Penrice.

Play stops as a wincing Penrice gets some attention from the medical team.
