A great ball in. I was just waiting for a Liverpool player to attack it.

The ball whipped in from Alice Bergstrom.

It was in a perfect area and Liverpool just needed a Vivien Endemann to attack it.

Lovely teasing cross from Alice Bergstrom and Cornelia Kapocs tries to get on the end of it at the back post but she barges into Hanna Lundkvist and concedes a free-kick.

Man Utd have been culpable this season at making errors in defence.

Teams turn it over in quick breaks, but the ever-present Maya le Tissier is there to block it.

United deal with the corner far better this time and relieve the pressure that had just been starting to build.

Grace Fisk has been a very consistent figure for Liverpool since her move from West Ham.

Liverpool lost the likes of Gemma Bonner, a long-standing centre-half for them.

Deep corner and Grace Fisk is there to meet it.

Decent header from the Liverpool skipper but Phallon Tullis-Joyce is able to save and hold.

Liverpool come forward again though and win another corner.

Better from Liverpool as they put together a decent spell of possession but United continue to press them relentlessly.

The visitors may be starting to settle at last and win a corner as Alice Bergstrom's cross is deflected behind.

Liverpool just need to cling on at this stage. They're under real pressure but there is a long time left in this one. They won't want to it to get away from them before they've even got started.

Manchester United look threatening with the likes of Dominique Janssen and Elisabeth Terland in the box.

The hosts continue to put pressure on Liverpool and now Andrea Medina wins a free-kick on the left.

Liverpool just about get it clear but United have a throw-in and stay on the front foot.

Well, Man Utd have done the key thing. They have made this pressure count. They have hassled the backline.

They have got their chance, and taken their chance. Fortunately, the ball lands beautifully to Julia Zigiotti's feet. Khiara Keating in no man's land. A cool calm finish from Zigiotti.

Liverpool do get into the United half for the first time after a nice one-two between Sam Kerr and Alice Bergstrom but the former cross is easily cut out.

Elisabeth Terland is usually going to win the header, it was a good swivel and on target from Toone.

Toone will know there are eyes on her. She will want to impress.

United win a corner on the right, it's hung up for Elisabeth Terland and she nods it down.

Ella Toone is there in the six-yard box and her hooked shot is deflected over the bar. The offside flag is up, though.
