SpainMen's young player of the year, Lamine Yamal: "It is an honour to be here and receive this prize.
"I would have liked to see my team-mate Cubarsi here because I think this prize should have been for him. He has been playing at an excellent level for some time.
"This is my third year up here for this prize. I would like to thank my club and my national team.
"Speaking about this one specifically, this one should have been for Curbasi."

I thought Lamine was a little underwhelming this year. Still exciting, still a jaw-dropping talent, but his best days are to come. Give the men’s award to a man at the top of his game. Lamine will be a winner one day, but he hasn’t earned it yet!

Yamal arrives in stylepublished at 20:45 GMT
20:45 GMTA fairly bold fashion statement from Lamine Yamal.
However, it is nice to see the 19-year-old arrive on the red carpet alongside his family.
The 19-year-old has posed for pictures alongside his mother, Sheila Ebana and partner, Ines Garcia.

20:44 GMTYep, that traffic has led to a further delay to this ceremony.
There was a little countdown on the TV coverage a few minutes ago saying that the ceremony should start immintenly, but still we wait.
Let's have some more pictures of the arrivals then.

"I came to enjoy this ceremony in London and am really happy to be here again.
"Amazing for me [to be in the top 10]. That moment I had, the injury, to rise up against the level to be here is incredible."
Where do you put a Ballon d'Or award?published at 20:38 GMT
20:38 GMTWell, the odds are heavily stacked towards a Spanish head coach winning the coach of the year award as only Vincent Kompany is the non-Spaniard among the nominees.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta told Guillem Balague that it was a "special" night in London, whilst his wife, Lorena Bernal said she would "find a place" if Arteta wins the award.
Bernal added: "I'm sure the kids would want it in their bedroom."

Kane can’t win tonight. The two years Thierry Henry finished second despite being the best player in the world by a mile. We were told it was because he hadn’t won either the Champions League or the World Cup. Kane has won the Bundesliga and finished 3rd in the World Cup...
Jack, Bromley
Kvaratskhelia is hampered by being from a nation that won't compete at World Cups. He's a much better footballer than Harry Kane, he's so much more entertaining to watch, and actually steps up in big games. If Kane wins it just for his goals, it'll be utterly ridiculous.

"Grateful to all the coaches that work with me, all the players they work with me.
"Aston Villa is where I am feeling now to feel so comfortable and improving in my career as a coach."
