    Philip Major
    Sportsound summariser

Early points on the board are vital for Crusaders as they are going to be in the bottom six this season.

They need to instil some belief and confidence and results like this will give them that.

  5. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:54 BST

    Limavady United 1-2 Carrick Rangers

Carrick Rangers make it two wins from two thanks to a hard-fought victory over Limavady United.

  6. 'Draw a fair result'published at 16:53 BST

    FT: Coleraine 0-0 Larne

    Liam Beckett
    Sportsound summariser

Tactically I thought both teams were superb. There were some great chances for both sides but you have to put the ball in the back of the net.

I thought a draw was a fair result.

  7. Postpublished at 16:53 BST

    Coleraine 0-0 Larne

It's all over at the Coleraine Showgrounds where there is nothing to separate two of the title favourites.

Both teams had their chances in an evenly contested game.

Matthew Shevlin and Joel Cooper both went close to breaking the deadlock in the opening half but Larne were denied by a fantastic save from Lewis Webb from Matty Lusty.

The Coleraine keeper denied sub' Conor McKendry with another brilliant stop while fellow replacement Montel Gibson should have done better when well placed minutes from full-time.

So, it's a point apiece but I suspect Larne's Gary Haveron will be the happier of the two managers tonight.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:51 BST

    Linfield 2-1 Glentoran

Linfield claim the 'Big Two' bragging rights at Windsor Park.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:51 BST

    Crusaders 2-1 Ballymena United

Crusaders claim their first points of the season after coming from a goal down to beat Ballymena.

United boss Oran Kearney will no doubt seek some clarity as to why Chris McKee's late effort was ruled out.

  10. Postpublished at 16:50 BST

    Limavady United 1-2 Carrick Rangers

Limavady United go agonisingly close again as John Butcher curls wide from outside the box.

  11. Postpublished at 16:49 BST

    Coleraine 0-0 Larne

Aidan Wilson rifles a shot narrowly past the post.

Is that the final act of a dramatic game?

  12. RED CARDpublished at 16:49 BST

    Linfield 2-1 Glentoran

Crikey, just after scoring, Jordan Stewart is given his marching orders for a poor tackle on Darragh Leahy.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:48 BST

    Bangor 0-3 Cliftonville

Cliftonville leave Bangor with all three points after a convincing 3-0 victory at Clandeboye Park.

The Reds make it two wins from two to begin the 2026/27 Irish Premiership campaign.

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:48 BST

  16. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:47 BST

    Crusaders 2-1 Ballymena United

A huge moment as Ballymena believe they have levelled as Chris McKee smashes the ball into the roof of the net following a corner.

The players return to the centre circle to re-start only for referee Niall Devlin to rule the goal out.

Ballymena's furious players surround the official who produces a yellow card for a visiting player.
