Derek McInnes needs to take off Fernandez otherwise Rangers will be down to 10 shortly

    Greig

Fernandez should be off. Diving on a yellow card and then takes Nygren out and Beaton has bottled both decisions.

Celtic can smell blood here and Rangers just need to see this out for the next five or six minutes.

Celtic have started this one pretty well, as you might expect in front of 60,000 of their own supporters.

There's more intensity and energy about the home side in these opening stages but Rangers will also be happy enough not to have conceded early.

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Celtic right-back Colby Donovan chops down James Penrice and Rangers get a free kick.

Referee John Beaton is trying to keep the cards in his pocket as best he can, I think.

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

A Celtic corner is scrambled behind again by Rangers. And again.

Can the home side make their pressure count?

Not this time, Rangers goalikeeper Ivor Pandur collects the third delivery.

    That's a foul. That's reckless.

He's a lucky boy, he really is.

It's got to be a foul. The referee bottled it there.

Emmanuel Fernandez was booked early on for this challenge on Camillo Duran

Fernandez looks rattled, he's feeling this atmosphere.

That is a huge call and I'm not sure he does get anything on the ball.

Oh my, Emmanuel Fernandez steps out to make a challenge on Benjamin Nygren. He bundles the Swede over.

Referee John Beaton says he got the ball. That is a big call.

Fernandez needs to be careful. He's on a yellow card and that could've been simulation.

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

James Penrice pops up in midfield for Rangers and takes an ambitious pop at goal.

It's low and an easy pick up for Celtic goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo.

Up the other end, Kieran Tierney wins a corner from Emmanuel Fernandez.

As Kheredine says, Celtic are going long and Camilo Duran is playing on Emmanuel Fernandez.

The big defender is already on a yellow, and is walking a tightrope.

The first obvious thing I've noticed in the opening minutes is Celtic getting the ball up the park as quickly as they can.

Last week at Ibrox they tried to pass their way out of their own box.

Already this afternoon, Cameron Carter-Vickers has put his right foot through the ball and invited Camilo Duran to get on his bike.

Callum McGregor bundles over the Rangers captain Dan Neil, as Rangers start to get a foothold in the game.

Cameron Carter-Vickers clears the ball into the box.

Celtic have definitely started the better team. Celtic have definitely looked more on the front foot than Rangers.

Rangers holding a high line. A ball right into the penalty spot. Liam Scales, he looked as though he's gone too early. What a good finish it was.

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Before that free kick was taken, Derek McInnes was booked as well!

He's getting into it with Celtic coach Mark Fotheringham. Those two have history from last season when McInnes was at Hearts.

Fotheringham is also flashed a yellow.

  18. DISALLOWED GOAL (Celtic)published at 5 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Auston Trusty thought he'd given Celtic the lead!

The free kick comes in, and Liam Scales heads it down. Trusty volleys in with his weaker foot, but the flag goes up.

Scales was offside from the free kick. Frenetic stuff.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 3 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Camilo Duran appeals for a penalty as he races on to a long ball.

The Celtic striker goes shoulder-to-shoulder with Emmanuel Fernandez, then hits the deck.

There wasn't much in it. But there is the second time, as Duran is felled by the Rangers defender.

This time it's outside the box, and it's a free kick and a yellow card for Fernandez.

It's still hard to tell. Donovan's on the right side, Tierney's on the left. Scales is about almost out in the left-back position at times.

Somebody has got to pick up Kim and that's the problem at the moment.
