I suppose looking at the picture of Maresca driving his car doing his best Oasis impression all I can say is don't look back in anger.

Is anyone expecting Maresca to say anything other than me and the players are just getting on with playing football? The real test will be to see if City players are affected by the verdict when they enter what will probably be the loudest ever Anfield cauldron.

Tongue in cheek answer obviously, but perhaps part of City's punishment should be giving Elliot Anderson back to Newcastle since we only had to sell him to comply with the rules they ignored...

Punishment should be 100 points deduction but should be spread over 5 seasons. City should start next 5 seasons at -20 points.

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany on his time at Manchester City: "I'll try and keep the same translation as what I said in German.
"I played 11 years for the club and I've loved all the years I've played for the club. Everything we've achieved and done on the pitch I'm really proud of.
"Everything else, as a player you're not a part of that. And right now as a coach of Bayern Munich I'm not too occupied with that topic as much as preparing for the game next week and the game we have to win tomorrow and everything I have as a coach."
