Dunfermline are behing Thistle on goal difference after their win in Greenock, while Livingston, now back under caretaker David Martindale, shared a four-goal thriller with Inverness.

Dundee United's performance was at a level you can only applaud as Jim Goodwin returned to the dugout. Clinical, inventive and in almost total control.

They absolutely deserved the win and the margin of it after delivering a display that will no doubt delight their manager and the travelling support.

St Mirren just didn't look like the team that started this season so strongly. No shots directly on target in the game says it all as they were well beaten.

Wow. What a finish at McDiarmid Park.

The St Johnstone players are still buzzing after that stoppage-time free-kick from Enes Alic.

That could be a big point for St Johnstone. Falkirk look deflated.

Motherwell lose their third Premiership game in a row as Dundee make the most of two goalkeeping mistakes to clinch victory at a blustery Dens Park.

Joe Westley, playing with a fractured cheekbone amid a Dundee injury crisis, scored from the spot after a harsh handball penalty was given against Emmanuel Longelo.

Alex Paulsen got two hands to Westley's spot-kick, but the ball still squirmed into the net, and he then allowed Bradley Fink's header to evade him.

Alex Lowry got a goal back for the visitors, but the hosts held on.

A much better second-half showing from Hibs earns them a draw under caretaker boss John Potter and they halt their home run at six straight losses in the league.

Martin Boyle's penalty earned a point after Jack Milne bundled over Jason Kerr.

Kevin Nisbet had given the Dons a first-half lead with a neat finish. Stephen Robinson's side are unbeaten in three in the league but will be frustrated at how cheaply they gave away the penalty.

Both sides played their part but were let down by the quality in the final third.
