Taylor Allen began the fightback that earned Salford their first points of the season
Salford City completed a late turnaround to beat Newport County 2-1 and claim their first League Two win of the season.
Harrison Biggins' extraordinary long-range strike gave County the lead at the midway point of the second half.
But goals from Taylor Allen and Kelly N'Mai inside the final seven minutes gave Salford a win which sees them move out of the bottom two and up to 20th.
County are 14th and travel to Northampton Town on Saturday while Salford host Port Vale.
Without a point from their opening three league games, the Ammies looked anything but a side short on confidence as they flew out of the blocks.
Dominant from the first whistle, Salford took control of the game forcing Newport into a steadfast rear-guard action for much of the evening.
Ryan Graydon struck the post inside five minutes, while Abraham Odoh was denied by a brilliant goal-line clearance from Joe Thomas as Salford threatened to make their pressure count.
For a side that had scored just once before the contest, however, the finishing touch continued to evade the hosts.
Their frustration grew further on the stroke of half-time when Joe Powell's low free-kick cannoned back off the upright.
The Exiles offered little in attack, as Macaulay Langstaff was next to go close for the hosts.
But the visitors stunned the home crowd with a moment of pure inspiration midway through the second half.
Biggins collected possession just outside his own penalty area, spotted Will Norris off his line and unleashed a stunning effort from around 70 yards that sailed over the stranded goalkeeper and into the net.
It was a goal worthy of winning any game, but Salford refused to succumb to a fourth league defeat on the spin.
The hosts continued to probe and eventually found a route back into the contest when Allen curled his strike beyond Wright to level the scores.
With momentum firmly behind them, Salford completed the comeback in the last minute of normal time.
Molyneux's cross was only partially cleared by Newport as Lee Jenkins' header dropped kindly into the path of substitute N'Mai, who met it sweetly first time on the volley.
