Millar Matthews-Lewis scored two first-half goals to propel AFC Fylde to victory over Hornchurch and send them up to fourth place in the National League.
The Coasters had to come from behind to record their ninth win in 16 matches after Angelo Balanta had fired the visitors into the lead.
Matthews-Lewis then came alive, first by finishing a goalmouth scramble which had seen the ball hit a post, and then crashing in a blistering half-volley off the underside of the bar.
Jack Morris then made sure of the win by producing a powerful low shot which beat Hornchurch goalkeeper Arthur Nasta.
