    Carrick Rangers opened the scoring after 10 minutes through Caleb Hawthorne but the Reds drew level five minutes later thanks to Kyle McClelland's back post header from a Ben Quinn corner.

    Quinn turned from provider to goalscorer just after the half hour with a fine finish from a Liam McStraick assist to ensure the away side are in the driving seat at the break.

    Goalkeeper Ferguson took an age with the ball at his feet before drilling the ball off attacker Eamon Fyfe, with the ricochet heading towards goal before the stopper makes it back to rescue the situation.
