Cliftonville make it four League Cup final wins in-a-row thanks to an impressive 4-0 win over Glentoran.

A first half double from Caitlin McGuinness was added to by further strikes by Kirsty McGuinness and Danielle Maxwell after the break to secure the first piece of silverware this season for the Reds.

Danielle Maxwell puts the icing on the cake with a fourth goal on 82 minutes.

Maxwell latches on to a poor clearance by Asheligh McKinnon and exchanges passes with Louise McDaniel before lashing a powerful shot into the corner.

Today's attendance at Seaview is 1,081.

Kirsty McGuinness goes close to adding a second goal for herself as she lets fly from outside the box but Ashleigh McKinnon tips over the bar.

Caitlin McGuinness almost has a hat-trick as she races clear down the left before cutting inside and drawing a good save out of Ashleigh McKinnon at the near post.

That would have wrapped things up for Cliftonville but keeps Glentoran's hopes still alive.

First change for Cliftonville as Danielle Maxwell comes on for Orleigha McGuinness.

Cliftonville boss Brendan Lynch is shown two yellow cards in quick succession by referee Mark Miskimmin and is sent off 10 minutes into the second half.

Lynch lets his frustrations be known after he was unable to make a substitution and must now watch the rest of the final from the stands.

First substitution for Glentoran as Jenna McKearney replaces Aimee Kerr.

Glentoran look out of sorts at the moment and almost get in a mix up at the back as Kelsie Burrows delivers a ball into the box which no-one wants to deal with before Ashleigh McKinnon finally smothers in as Caitlin McGuinness closes in.

Fi Morgan picks up the first yellow card of the day as she clips Mia Moore outside the Cliftonville penalty area.

More good work by Cliftonville down the left hand-side sees Kirsty McGuinness cross for Victoria Carleton, whose first-time effort on the turn fizzes just wide of the Glentoran goal.
