Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler on whether he's had time to reflect on how well things are going for his side this season: "I've had no time, honestly no time. My thoughts are always on the next game and then the next game. What we try to do is reflect on why we are in the situation and what things gave us this good foundation. I believe the basic things brought us here; the hard work, the non-negotiables, the small margins. Everyone knows their role and everyone knows that we can only compete with the best if we all do everything at the highest level. That's the message that we try to reinforce.

"In football there is always the next game so as much as you are satisfied with a performance, a few hours later your focus is on beating your next opponent and maintaining the standards."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler on the Premier League's leading chance creators - Pascal Gross and Martin Odegaard - going up against each other in midfield this weekend:

"We have to be aware that Martin Odegaard can create that many chances, that will be so important. Hopefully we can bring Pascal Gross into the kind of positions where he can be make such an impact on our game. I'm pleased with how he is performing at the moment, not only in possession but also out of possession. It is nice to see how he is leading on and off the pitch. It is a joy to watch him play at the moment, hopefully he can carry on like this."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler was also asked about his comments around Arsenal's style of play last season. The German called for stricter rules around set-pieces and criticised Arsenal for time-wasting back in March.

He said: "What was said last season was said last season. It is very important to remember that there are opinions in football and I will always share my opinion if I'm asked a question.

"At the end of the day, I congratulated Arsenal for being deserved champions. It is a new season now - they have started very impressively and they are maybe the best team in England - so it is our challenge to compete with them by focusing in the game and playing our style of play.

"I do believe we have a chance to win this game."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler on Lewis Dunk potentially making his 300th Premier League start on Saturday: "That number is very impressive. It is interesting because we spoke a lot about James Milner last season, but now we are speaking a lot about Lewis Dunk. Those two aren't similar in terms of how they lead or in their personalities, but they are similar in terms of their commitment to this club and to football.

"He is someone who always drives the high standards here, so it is a pleasure to work with him as our captain. It is hard to understand from the outside just how much he wants to give back to Brighton; his connection with this club is something which drives his whole life."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler started by providing an update on summer signing Femi Azeez's fitness: "He needs to use this upcoming international break to get back to his highest physical level and get used to our style of play. Firstly we will look to work with him individually, then hopefully he will be integrated back into the team. If all goes to plan, he will definitely be at the level after the international break and hopefully we can start to use him in games."

On Jaouen Hadjam's availability after picking up a knock during their midweek Carabao Cup fixture at Old Trafford: "He is able to play."

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was asked whether striker Viktor Gyokeres is struggling for confidence currently:

"No, especially in the Premier League he hasn't played that many minutes.

"Last week he played in Napoli and he had a good game. It is about moments as well and we need to give him all the support and confidence that he needs because we know the player that we have and that he has the capacity to score goals.

"We know what he can give to the team."

Has Gyokeres fully adapted to the Gunners' playing style?: T"he team is doing certain different things this season as well. There is nothing unique for Viktor, it is for everybody. it is my job to fit players in, find connections, and find the level of confidence for the players to give their best for the team."

"That is a great story. For any kid to look at trajectories and pathways and how you cn reach the highest level in football.

"I always maintain that with that motivation and enthusiasm it can happen. Now football is so connected that you can get scouted and in two or three years be playing a the highest level.

"I think it's his mentality. David has tremendous qaulity but he has overcome a lot of difficulties and challenges to reach this point. It wasn't easy at the beginning, he had to dig in and prove himself.

"Now, he has the right to be one of the best."

Has Raya been his best Arsenal signing?: "He's been a tremendous signing, there is no question about that. Whether he is the best or not is just an opinion. It doesn't matter, we are so happy to have him. He has elevated the team to a different level and now we have to maintain that level."

"He can play on the left, on the right, in the middle. He can rotate from there. He is a dynamic, versatile player that can deliver great moments in any position.

"It will be more down to what we need on the day, his relationship with the other players, and what the opponent does as well."

"That's one of the challenges of the schedule and the team has responded so well, playing with such a dominance.
