Hearts will face Koge for a place in the Women's Champions League third qualifying round after recovering from a deficit to defeat Gintra.

The SWPL winners pressed hard in the first half of their semi-final in Denmark, with Ellen Dolan's long-range effort hitting the crossbar and Carly Johns' shot blocked by goalkeeper Alla Herasymchuk.

However, it was the Lithuanian side that took the lead on 43 minutes as Khrystyna Pereviznyk's corner delivery was converted by the head of defender Makeila Michele Yancey.

Justina Blazevicute went through early in the second half and tried to round Hearts keeper Rachael Johnstone, who stood her ground well to make the save.

And it proved to be a turning point, with Andy Thomson's side forcing themselves level soon after.

It was another goal from a set play as Dolan headed powerfully at a corner.

Hearts were taking control and Gintra were breached again when Kayla Jardine applied a clever near-post volley to Jessica Husband's superb cross from the right.

Koge beat Riga 4-1 to set up the meeting with Hearts. The final will be played on Saturday at 14:30 BST, with the losers dropping into the third round of Europa League qualifying.
