Hazard keen to join 'ambitious' Wycombe

New Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Conor Hazard says he is "over the moon" at joining the club from Plymouth Argyle.
The 28-year-old signed on a free transfer on Wednesday, becoming the Chairboys' first signing of the summer.
Wycombe finished 11th in League One last season - 12 points off the play-off places after a fifth-placed finish the previous campaign.
"I'm over the moon. It's so exciting to be here. It's a club with massive ambition to get to the highest level," Hazard told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"After speaking to the gaffer [Michael Duff] today, you can tell this season's hopefully going to be a memorable one."
Having arrived from Celtic in 2023, Hazard was Argyle's number one for the majority of his three years at Home Park - initially coming into the side to replace the injured Michael Cooper in his first season under Steven Schumacher.
But the Northern Ireland international missed four months of his second season after ankle surgery as the Pilgrims were relegated from the Championship.
Hazard remained the club's preferred number one last season back in the third tier under head coach Tom Cleverley - playing 29 of 46 league matches - but was sent off on his final appearance for the club for handling the ball outside the box.
It is not yet known whether or not Hazard will be competing with Will Norris for first-choice keeper with Norris having been offered a new contract to stay at Adams Park.
"I think Wycombe is the perfect place to be," Hazard said.
"When you're coming to this club, you need to have a lot about you.
"I think everyone that comes to this club knows now what standards you need to bring. I would like to think that's going to be the culture in the dressing room".
