Carlisle sign forward Obiero from Wealdstone
Micah Obiero has joined Carlisle United on a two-year deal

Carlisle United have signed forward Micah Obiero from fellow National League club Wealdstone on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, whose contract includes the option of a further year, previously spent time on loan at Brunton Park from Huddersfield Town in 2020.
Obiero made his senior debut in the Championship for Huddersfield after coming through the Terriers' academy and had a loan spell with Halifax Town and a brief stint at Boston United before making the move to Wealdstone in 2022.
He established himself as a National League regular at Grosvenor Vale and scored 17 goals for Wealdstone last season, which earned him a call up to the Kenya national side in the summer.
Rob Elliot: 'Fantastic physicality'
Obiero's prolific form has continued into the new campaign, with three goals in the opening weeks of the season, including two in the win over Sutton United, and Blues boss Rob Elliot believes he can be a difference maker in matches.
"He's someone we have liked for a long time, he has fantastic physicality, he's really technical in and around the box, and he has great skill," Elliot told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"In this shape and structure, I think he scores a lot of goals and he really adds to the squad and gives us that dimension. He is really quick, presses really well and is the right age and profile so it is a really good signing and I'm pleased he's here.
"We want to try and have as many different facets as possible so whatever problem we have we can solve it. Just having his energy, pace in behind, natural finishing and scoring goals and he really adds to the forward line.
"He's the right character, the right person and I've had some fantastic reports back on him from people that I trust - previous managers - and also he is someone I think will get better and better with us.
"I'm really pleased he's here and I'm sure everyone will look forward to seeing him."
Carlisle, beaten play-off semi-finalists last season, sit 14th in the National League and host third-placed Southend United on Saturday.
