Fleetwood Town striker Ronan Coughlan has signed a new deal to remain with the League Two club for a further two years.
The 30-year-old, who joined from the Cod Army's sister club Waterford in January 2024 and has made 55 appearances, will remain at Highbury until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Coughlan was the club's second top-scorer in the 2024-25 campaign before rupturing his Achilles tendon in January of that season.
He returned to league action in November and managed 15 appearances, scoring twice in 2025-26.
"This new deal reflects the club's belief in both the player and the long-term vision being built under the head coach," the club said., external
