Potentially a big moment to end the powerplay.

Lucy Hamilton dives full length to her left and gets a good hand on a powerful pull shot from Hayley Matthews.

It's only a half-chance, but it goes down as a drop nonetheless.

They're toying with Qiana Joseph now and she's getting frustrated. I feel like Hayley Matthews is getting even more frustrated.

  4. WI 34-0published at 5.5 overs

Two more dots for Qiana Joseph before a miscue over cover brings one.

    She has six off 16.

  5. WI 32-0published at 5.1 overs

A much-needed boundary for West Indies as Hayley Matthews guides one past short third for four.

  6. WI 28-0published at 5 overs

Qiana Joseph keeps chewing up balls.

Four straight dots to finish the fifth over. Something has to give.

  7. WI 28-0published at 4.2 overs

Hayley Matthews tries to wallop Lucy Hamilton down the ground, but slices it high in the air, just short of the diving Ash Gardner.

    A stroke of luck.

This is where Australia are good. Lucy Hamilton started loose in that first over, but they've started to squeeze and made it difficult.

  9. WI 27-0published at 4 overs

    Superb stuff from Kim Garth.

Just two singles off the fourth over.

  10. WI 26-0published at 3.3 overs

Qiana Joseph can't get going at all.

She has four from eight balls after successive dots from Kim Garth.

The left-hander then gets off strike with a streaky inside edge.

  11. WI 25-0published at 3 overs

A very steady start for West Indies, led by their captain Hayley Matthews.

They know a big score is imperative if they are to cause an upset today.

For me, I feel like this West Indies side isn't about the bug guns, it's about who can chip away. If players can just offer 20's or 30's in reasonable time, that could get them to that 180 or 200 score.

  13. WI 23-0published at 2.2 overs

    Ooft.

Sophie Molineux brings herself into the attack and thinks she's got Hayley Matthews first ball.

The West Indies skipper somehow gets bat on an arm ball and cuts it off middle stump for four.

Much more convincing off the next delivery, as a powerful sweep flies to the square-leg boundary.

  14. WI 15-0published at 2 overs

Neither Hayley Matthews nor Qiana Joseph looked particularly comfortable against Kim Garth there, but they take seven from the second over.

  15. How's stat?!published at 14:40 BST

    Ben Jones

Australia's fielding has been less than its parts this World Cup. Only 64% of their catching opportunities have been taken, only the eighth best in the tournament.

  16. WI 12-0published at 1.3 overs

Kim Garth is straight on the money and beats Hayley Matthews' outside edge with a perfect away-swinger.

The Irish-born seamer finds the edge with the very next ball, but it's past the diving fielder at slip and goes for four.

Lucy Hamilton's not done much wrong this over and she's gone for eight. There's so much on offer here.

  18. WI 8-0published at 1 over

A decent comeback from Lucy Hamilton, who concedes just four more after that opening boundary.

That's the way you want to start if you're Hayley Matthews.

  20. WI 4-0published at 0.1 overs

    Glorious.

Hayley Matthews leans into a full delivery from Lucy Hamilton and belts it through the covers to start with a boundary.
