All is not lost for India. Ireland need to continue with the attitude of taking wickets. Tilak Varma is looking confident and secure in the middle and his team-mates need him to stay in.

Tim Tector has let his brother down there with that poor bit of fielding at the boundary.

It'll be an interesting dinner conversation later!

What a great wicket for Ireland! That's a great catch from Lorcan Tucker. Axer Patel was trying to use the pace on the ball and he got an edge on it.

That's a big wicket to break the partnership of Axar Patel and Tilak Varma. A great catch behind by Lorcan Tucker.

    Patel c Tucker b Hollard 14 (Ind 74-5)

Excellent take from Lorcan Tucker behind the stumps, sticking out a big left paw to snare an edge from Axar Patel.

India's fifth-wicket stand is broken, Patel departing for 14 (18). Matt Hollard has a wicket on his return to the attack.

  15. Ind 71-4published at 11 overs

Ireland have came back well from that rain break. The fielding so far has been very good. The new Irish bowlers coming into the team seem to be very good fielders so that's a real bonus.

  17. Ind 66-4published at 10 overs

Need 89 runs from 60 balls

Tilak Varma gets back to his feet and finishes the over with a single.

At the halfway mark, the required rate is just shy of nine an over (8.90). India haven't scored a boundary since the powerplay.

Liam McCarthy, who still has two overs in the bank, has only conceded seven runs.

  18. Ind 65-4published at 9.5 overs

That's a painful one for Tilak Varma as he wears one on his hip. He's stayed down on the floor and is getting some attention.

Liam McCarthy is frustrated with himself but it's a good effort at a caught and bowled. If nothing else, he prevented a four.

  20. dropped catch

Dropped catch - Ind 65-4published at 9.4 overs

Oooh tough chance but bowler Liam McCarthy can't hold onto Axar Patel. It was hammered back at him, up to his right as he followed through, and he could only parry it.

    Patel takes the single.
