Malik and Yates have been largely untroubled so far.

There are nine overs left in the day should the Bears really want to finish things tonight - they don't need to of course.

There's still something in this pitch with the older ball as Dom Bess does a little bit of gardening between deliveries in the Migael Pretorius over.

Glamorgan need to push this lead as far as they can because bowling Surrey out on a flattening pitch is unlikely to be as easy as it was on day one.

Hampshire have struggled all season with the bat, managing just four batting bonus points - but here, they are batting with focus and diligence.

Nick Gubbins has batted superbly for his century. It's been an innings of patience and fluid strokeplay. He has, unlike most batsman in this game, resisted the urge to move right across his stumps to field difficult balls, batting in a more textbook fashion.

He's been ably supported by Felix Organ, Toby Albert and now their top run-scorer Jake Lehmann.

Any more than 270 or 280 to chase and the Foxes might be in trouble,

Hampshire might be building towards victory here - and that might be a devastating blow to Leicestershire's chances of survival - points deduction or no points deduction.

Leicestershire's spin duo of Rehan Ahmed and Ajaz Patel have restored a bit of control to this innings without quite finding the breakthrough.

Now Nathan Gilchrist will have a bowl. The seamer goes full and Nick Gubbins drives for a single. He's on 111, which would be most inconvenient for the superstitious.
