Have your say on the Women's T20 World Cup

  1. Australia reviewpublished at 9.2 overs

Australia have had enough of Alice Capsey. She was down on one knee attempting a sweep and they want an lbw.

  2. Eng 64-2published at 9 overs

That's a huge over for England. A couple of fours and a six from Alice Capsey, who finishes it with a well-placed drive to the rope.

16 from it. Not the start Ash Gardner would've wanted.

    Eng 60-2published at 8.4 overs

Alice Capsey with the first six of the afternoon! Sailing over deep mid-wicket.

  4. Eng 52-2published at 8.1 overs

    A boundary!

It's a bit of a loosener from Ash Gardner - full toss - and it's deservedly swatted for four by Alice Capsey.

  5. Eng 48-2published at 8 overs

That wagon wheel (@16.10) is quite astonishing. For anyone listening on the radio or just following along here, I'd like to confirm that Australia don't have nine fielders between cover and mid-on.

"The overs are going by so fast. England are literally being suffocated," says the boss, Higgy.

Annabel Sutherland's second over yields five runs - and one of those was a wide.

It has been three overs since now since England's last boundary. Australia have been really tight here on England.

I feel like one of these two will have to take a risk.

England haven't scored a run in 25% of the ground yet.

  8. Eng 43-2published at 7 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt is starting to turn to inventive strokes, pulling out the paddle and picking up two off Georgia Wareham, but England are otherwise dealing in singles and dots.

All is not lost for England - there's still the fireworks of Freya Kemp and Dani Gibson to come and Sciver-Brunt did some late accelerating alongside Heather Knight against South Africa on Thursday.

    It's annoying watching Australia again.

They have been so clinical and their plans are working. England aren't out of it at all but they do look a bit nervous, there isn't much foot movement.

I'd like to see them release the shackles a little bit.

Australia's field placements are perfect and England are really struggling to find the gaps.

  11. Eng 39-2published at 6 overs

    Capsey 4 (6), Sciver-Brunt 18 (17)

Lucy Hamilton returns to the attack and forces a couple of sharp intakes of breath, Alice Capsey swinging and missing twice.

Capsey can't capitalise on a free hit, hitting into the ground, and is nearly run out at the non-striker's end as they dash for a single.

Very much Australia's powerplay. They've picked up two wickets and restricted England to just five boundaries.

The good news for the batting side? Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is still in.

This is the third time this pitch has been used, by the way. It has had a week off in between uses.

A change in strategy for Australia - that was just Sutherland’s second over in the powerplay so far in the competition.

    Credit to Australia.

They have been clinical with their plans and bringing Mooney up to the stumps is a very smart plan to Danni Wyatt-Hodge with how much she likes to move around the crease.

  15. Eng 33-2published at 5 overs

England have been squeezed in this powerplay. It's all a little nervy from the batting side.

Alice Capsey gets off the mark with a single.

    Wyatt-Hodge c Mooney b Sutherland 8 (Eng 32-2)

There's a spike, a little tickle from Danni Wyatt-Hodge's attempted flick!

It was an excellent tumbling take from Beth Mooney behind the stumps, moving to her left. And excellent work to convince captain Sophie Molineux to take a punt on the review, too.

Wyatt-Hodge is out for eight. England are two down in the powerplay.

  17. Australia reviewpublished at 4.5 overs

Now then. Beth Mooney is very interested in a caught behind against Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

The umpire signalled a wide but Australia send it upstairs.

  18. Eng 32-1published at 4.4 overs

Annabel Sutherland's opening over is proving a profitable one for England.

Nat Sciver-Brunt mashes two boundaries - the second off a free hit from a front-foot no ball - and runs hard with Danni Wyatt-Hodge for a couple more.

Australia can't afford to give Danni Wyatt-Hodge any width here. She is striking at 260 against balls wide outside off in the competition, compared to just 105 when the ball is tight to the stumps.

  20. Eng 20-1published at 4 overs

Australia captain Sophie Molineux saw her opening delivery hit to the boundary, Danni Wyatt-Hodge dancing down for a heave but instead slicing through backward point.

But the next five only brought two singles for England.
