  3. Ind 33-1published at 3 overs

    Target 258

Back-to-back boundaries. India's batters have no time to settle in.

Ishan Kishan opens the face of his bat and guides it up and over gully for a one-bounce four. The next ball, Kishan is on his toes and slashes it through backward point.

A nothing shot from Abhishek Sharma. He was looking to kind of guide it to third to a single but gets the faintest of edges. This isn't him, because he has a lovely swing up and down. But it feels a lot bowlers have figured him out.

A wicket which underlines England's dominance in the series.

    Abhishek c Buttler b Archer 3

Jofra Archer strikes! And you have to say, Abhishek Sharma gives his wicket away.

It's a short delivery and wide enough for Abhishek to send it through the covers, but the India opener plays tentatively and edges it into Jos Buttler's gloves.

    Archer is grinning.

Superb batting by Jos 'the boss' Buttler and Harry 'wizard' Brook.

    Chetan, Bolton

India will chase this easily. Road.

    Ryan, Doncaster

Seem to remember a few days ago somebody saying we were watching Jos Buttler’s England career come to its end… what you saying now?

    Euan, Manchester

It's interesting how Sanju Samson approaches this. Is he viewing this as one of his last opportunities for India?

  9. Ind 23-0published at 2 overs

Six more - stand and deliver. After almost chopping on, Sanju Samson pulls another short delivery into the stands.

Just think about how Jos Buttler started the innings but once he got going there was no looking back.

India are going to need a good start to win this match - something they haven't had in this series so far.

  11. Ind 17-0published at 1.3 overs

Abhishek Sharma dances down the wicket and gives himself some room but misses out as Josh Tongue adjusts his line outside off stump.

India will need plenty more of this. Sanju Samson picks up the length and plays a terrific pull for six over mid-wicket.

  13. Ind 10-0published at 1 over

Sanju Samson drills it down the ground for four past a diving Harry Brook at mid-off.

Abhishek Sharma is also off the mark with a boundary with a streaky edge through gully.

It could have been a different story for India had Shivam Dube taken this. It was a woeful fielding display.

  15. Ind 0-0published at 0.1 overs

    Target 258

Jofra Archer steams in and Sanju Samson plays and misses.

The good thing with chasing that sort of score you don't have much time to deliberate over it. You have to get on with it and that might play into India's hands on a pitch good for strokemaking.

Tom Banton makes a young lad's day by signing a picture as the fielders make their way to the middle.

Out come Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson.

If England win this game, it's 19 wins in 23 games and that's a good sample size to show they are an elite unit.
