Matt Potts is hard done by to be carded below Brydon Carse at 11 and I still remember vividly his Daddy Hundred at Edgbaston to that ridiculously short one-sided boundary in April 2024.

A second direct hit from the field this morning removes the middle stump at the wicketkeeper's end, but Ben Martindale has made his ground.
The Notts opener then drives a full ball past mid-off and picks up two to bring up 50 for the visitors. Good over from Michael Booth, though, as he twice beats the edge.
A decent recovery from Notts after their early wobbles.

Ed Barnard has replaced Ethan Bamber to refresh the Bears attack which had begin to leak a few after that super start.

The easiest bet of the year might have been David Bedingham to be Division 2's top scorer.
He brings up fifth century this Championship campaign in his final home appearance of the season before heading home to South Africa for their season.
The three different pairs of gloves he wore in the 90s not unsettling him.
He ties with Alex Lees for number of first-class centuries scored for Durham.

It's definitely a testing season for the Glosters, who look nailed on for the wooden spoon in Division Two.
Sussex 147-2 v Somerset 202
Great honesty from Josh Thomas as he makes brilliant ground to sprint after one towards the boundary, but flicks three times at the ball as he slides.
The final flick his legs are on the rope and he very honestly signals four as that is one of those so far from the umpires that they just have to go off the honesty of the fielders.
Durham 185-3 v Glos 137
Three test cricketers bowling or batting now at CLS as Indian spinner Sai Kishore just gets one ball at David Bedingham on 99 after Ben Stokes takes two, three dots and one off his first five balls.
A dot, Bedingham strikes me as a man who won't be nervous, he has been here plenty of times before.
