Warwickshire batter Sam Hain will miss the remainder of this year's One-Day Cup because of a knee injury sustained in the Bears' first match of the competition.
The 31-year-old scored 80 in the five-wicket defeat by Northamptonshire on Tuesday but missed Warwickshire's next match, a loss to Nottinghamshire, two days later.
Warwickshire said, external they are "not putting a timeframe on Hain's return at this time" but have confirmed he will play no further part in the 50-over competition.
Hain, who made two one-day international appearances for England in 2023, was captaining the Bears in the One-Day Cup as Ed Barnard is playing in The Hundred for Sunrisers Leeds.
Rob Yates will lead Warwickshire for the rest of the tournament.
