Could we one day see a fight between Catterall and Ryan Garcia?

Ryan Garcia says Conor Benn was "coming in reckless" and maybe that's the difference in experience.

You can't be doing that against someone as sharp and talented as Garcia.

That right hook by Ryan Garcia to drop Conor Benn was HEAVY.

Benn took his time to get up and he had a decent sway on him too.

Benn wasn't taking too much damage on the ropes after that but Benn wasn't complaining.

What next for Conor Benn then? Think we'll be seeing him go up in weight but can he win a world title? Is he good enough?

Great performance. It was really really good. All I can really remember about the fight is the left hook. It did land quite a lot. It's so fast.

The right hand as well, coming over the top was dangerous.

The signs were there in the first round. Garcia couldn't miss with that lightning-fast left hook and you felt as though something heavy was going to get to him.

There are obvious levels in boxing and I think we just saw them then.

Elite stuff from Ryan Garcia. There wasn't really anything Conor Benn could do about it.

The left hook was incredibly fast. Benn took a few earlier on, he seemed to be taking them well. He was keeping that right hand glued to his face, but they kept on getting through.

The two now embrace in the middle of the ring.

I think Benn realises Garcia was just a level or three above.

Could the referee have given Benn a bit longer? I don't know, maybe but he saved him from taking an awful lot of damage there.

Benn was dropped at first by a stiff right hook bang on the button but he managed to beat the count.

Garcia wasn't letting Benn off though and the onslaught continued on the ropes until the referee jumped in.

Benn is dropped, he's wobbling all over the place.

A really gripping opening round. Both are certainly not shy about having a swing.

Garcia clips Benn with an early left hook and it knocks Benn slightly off balance in the opening 30 seconds. The left hand lands again as Benn walks on to another one.

Now Garcia comes in with two hard rights before Benn nails Garcia to the body.

Garcia's speed is proving too much for Benn in the opener but the Brit smiles as the bell rings.

Ryan Garcia has been the far more erratic of the two this week, although we have perhaps come to expect that from him.

Garcia appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw in July and at times this week he has brought that same wrestling-style energy - shouting, performing and playing to the crowd.

Away from the cameras, though, we spoke to him on Tuesday and saw a very different side. He was polite, engaging and showed very little ego.

He is clearly a showman. The question tonight is whether he can flick the switch and become the disciplined world champion again once the bell rings.

Wow, I can't wait to witness what's about to happen in this one.
