Should the drinking ban at football matches be scrapped?

Andy Burnham has suggested a trial allowing football fans to be able to drink in the stands at matches could happen as he branded the current ban as 'discrimination'. But should it be changed? Tom Greatrex, Chair of the Football Supporters Association and former Labour MP, says he agrees with the prime minister, while former Chief Constable of the British Transport Police Andy Trotter says "adding more alcohol" into matchday environments is "totally unnecessary".
