Dianne Buswell

All the way from Australia, Dianne Buswell has been bringing her incredible energy and dazzling moves to the Strictly Ballroom since 2017!

Her first celebrity partner, Reverend Richard Coles, bowed out of the competition in Week Three, but Dianne returned the following year alongside social media star Joe Sugg and danced all the way to the Grand Final.

Before Strictly came calling, Dianne starred on So You Think You Can Dance Australia and Dancing with the Stars Australia, so she’s certainly no stranger to a bit of competition! She’s also an Australian Open Champion and four-time Amateur Australian Open Finalist, and was part of the Burn The Floor production on Broadway from 2011.

In 2019, Dianne partnered radio DJ Dev Griffin, followed by pop star Max George in 2020 and comedy actor Robert Webb in 2021. She returned in 2022 alongside radio DJ Tyler West, with the pair making it all the way to Blackpool.

In 2023, Dianne teamed up with EastEnders actor and model Bobby Brazier, and the pair danced their way to the Grand Final, finishing as runners-up.

Then came 2024 – and Dianne’s biggest Strictly moment yet! Partnered with comedian Chris McCausland, the pair captured the hearts of the nation and danced all the way to the Final, where they lifted the Glitterball Trophy and were crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champions 2024!

In 2025, Dianne teamed up with fellow Aussie and Neighbours star Stefan Dennis. Their Strictly journey was unfortunately cut short when Stefan was forced to withdraw from the competition following a calf injury.

With a Glitterball now firmly under her belt, Dianne is back and ready to bring her trademark energy, incredible choreography and plenty of Aussie sparkle to the Ballroom once again!
