The Racing Pod: Grand National preview
Beau Morgan and Charlie Deutsch share the jockey's perspective on riding the legendary course at Aintree.
Trevor Owens and Oliver Boyden reflect on how the riders can't have their concentration waver or 'be worried about what they've got for dinner', even though the field has reduced from 40 to 34 horses and the introduction of smaller fences.
Morgan says how Twig was bought for only £100 and has blossomed ever since. He adds that the trick to mastering Aintree is getting a great start.
Deutsch says he’s aiming for the 2027 season with L'Homme Presse injured for the 2026 race.
