Colchester fireworks to be loud again
A Bonfire Night event at Colchester Rugby Club will have loud fireworks again, after last year’s silent display left some disappointed. The display would normally raise more than £10,000 a year, which is split between the club and several charities.
Refunds were given, but club chairman Karl O'Brien says some people were "very aggressive" towards its staff.
