Traditional ceramics get a modern twist when Natasha Raskin Sharp meets artist Lucy Bryant, who uses a technique called bricolage to breathe new life into forgotten plates and figurines.

At Ardingly antiques fair, experts Caroline Hawley and Thomas Forrester are ready to host two more teams on a dash around the stalls. Hunting for jewellery are Vijoo and her husband Conny. Shopping against them are partners James and George, who plan to spend big right away. While the lads gallop off in search of George’s favourite animal, a horse, Vijoo and Conny prefer a leisurely trot. Twenty minutes later, they’re still pondering their first purchase.

For the auction, the teams travel to Chichester, where the experts reveal their bonus buys. Thomas sticks with a familiar theme, while Caroline brings a touch of Scandi style to the proceedings.
