Two teams - a pair of PhD students and a father and daughter - gallop around the antiques stalls of Southwell Racecourse with experts Lesley Kiddell-Spencer and Irita Marriot.
See if you can beat fairgoers as they try to guess the purpose of Eric’s mystery object. It’s made of a hard wood and has a screw top with holes pierced in it. All will be revealed!
At Southwell Racecourse in Nottinghamshire, the teams keep Eric guessing what they bought until their 60 minutes is up. Shopping with expert Lesley Kiddell-Spencer are friends and PhD students Harriet and Alice, who plan to use logic and charm to get a deal, and with Irita Marriott are dad and daughter AJ and Jiya. He's looking for watches. and she’s after silver and jewellery. Can the students dial in a profit when they come across a stall of upcycled telephones or can AJ and Jiya make them green with envy if they buy a Blue John pendant?
There are certainly plenty of intriguing items to tempt the bidders at Hettie Jago’s sale room in Nottingham, but will this contest come down to the bonus buys at the end of the show?
