The NOVO Quartet live at Wigmore Hall

Elizabeth Alker reflects on recent highlights from the Charles Wood Festival at Glenarm. Featuring specially made recordings, with performances from the acclaimed soprano and Radio 3 New Generation Artist Erika Baikoff, the Grammy award-winning mezzo Fleur Barron, and one of today's leading recital tenors, Ilker Arcayürek.

Throughout the week, we'll be shining a spotlight on the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and we mark 'Piano Mondays', with their recent performance of John Adams' "Grand Pianola Music," with pianists Tamara Stefanovich and Katherine Tinker.

Before that, the show begins with a live concert from London’s Wigmore Hall given by one of our current BBC Next Generation Artists, the NOVO Quartet - one of Denmark's most exciting young chamber ensembles.
