The frontier town of Absolution comes under attack by aliens and puts together a posse to bring their kidnapped people back.
Jake Lonergan wakes up in the desert with no memory of who he is or how he got there. But in the nearby town of Absolution, he's a wanted man, and Jake is arrested for being one of the most feared gunslingers in the Wild West, and the leader of the Lonergan gang.
When the town comes under attack by mysterious craft that kidnap people off the streets, including the sheriff, the tough and feared Colonel Dolarhyde puts together a posse to find all the victims, including his kidnapped son. Mistrusted and feared by the others, Lonergan joins the posse and sets out to get justice.
