Today, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs with the Philharmonia Chorus in Rachmaninoff's choral symphony, 'The Bells,' conducted by Vasily Petrenko.
Elsewhere, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Chorus perform Ralph Vaughan William's 'Serenade to Music,' conducted by Andrew Manze at the City Halls in Glasgow. The programme also features highlights from St. Magnus Festival including a luminous new work by Emily Hazrati, commissioned by the RPS for The Marian Consort through their Composers Programme
