Residents of Kebbe town for Kebbe Local Government Area of Sokoto State Northern Nigeria report say dem dey face fresh security wahala afta suspected bandits demand 40 million naira ($30,000) from di community and threaten to attack di town if dem no pay di money.

According to one source from Kebbe town wey no want make we tok im name, e tell BBC News Pidgin say one resident wey dey travel along one road wey bandits reportedly dey use see dem and run.
E add say di bandits chase am on motorcycles, catch up wit am and surround am, bifor dem give am one phone make e carry am go give di village head.
E say, “Afta dem stop am for road on Tuesday, dem give am phone and tell am make e carry am go give village head, say dem go call. Afta di phone reach di village head representative, dem call and say within di next few days, dem want make dem raise 40 million naira ($30,000) for dem.”
