The Swede has been named Notts County's new director of football. Many of the national newspapers have been putting together guides of our city to help the Swede find his way around Nottingham. What the papers say...The first thing he'll have to do is find a home. In his press conference on Wednesday 22 July 2009 Sven said he will be relocating to Nottingham. Mike Norrish of The Telegraph thinks Sven would be happiest residing in The Park, where he would have 'a wonderful view of Nottingham Castle and the statue of Robin Hood'. Robin Hood statue? The castle will block his view. Kevin doesn't mention where the footballers live. Neil Moxley of the Daily Mirror says the former England manager will probably have fun finding out if it's true that 'the women outnumber the men three to one in the city'. And add, Sven 'will find it hard not to score in Nottingham' as Nottingham is 'rated by a dating website as one of Britain's best places to find eligible totty'. But, they say, he'll face 'tough competition as its reputation has also turned it into the country's top destination for stag parties'. For 'post-match fun' they suggest 'two-for-one drinks every Thursday at Rock City', the 'vast beds to lounge on' at Nottingham bar Tantra or Hooters.
