The Big Brother party is over for Norfolk's Jon Tickle. He was the second person to be evicted from the house on Friday in a double eviction night.

On hearing the news, Jon put his arms in the air and said, "I can go to the money!"

After persistent task failer Federico was the first to be given the boot on Friday, it was a close call between both Jon and Cameron.

Surprisingly Jon received 37% of the vote, with Cameron receiving only 34%.

Despite Jon's unpopularity with his fellow housemates, a huge crowd of Tickle fans were outside the Big Brother house to cheer him on as he returned to the outside world.

He was greeted by fans dressed as a Storm Trooper and Darth Vader from Star Wars.

Jon's popularity has grown to cult status among television presenters such as Graham Norton, newspapers such as The Sun and websites devoted entirely to Jon.

Jon's inventions such as the time delay toaster and his infamous visits to the diary room to talk to Big Brother had made him a firm favourite with the public. Jon made a record number of 130 visits to the diary room during his time in the house.

There are now just seven contestants left in the house.
