A string of pop-rock anthems are set to ring out across Thetford Forest, when Crowded House head there later this year. The Australian band will play an open-air gig in the heart of Britain's biggest lowland forest on Thursday, 10 July, 2008. They are the third act to be revealed for the High Lodge venue's string of six summer picnic concerts, joining Status Quo and Katherine Jenkins on the line-up. Crowded House reformed last year with their enduring popularity confirmed when their album Time On Earth peaked at number three in the UK charts. The group, fronted by Neil Finn, attracted a massive following in the 1990s, with their radio-friendly hits including Take The Weather and Fall At Your Feet. The Thetford Forest gig is just one of Crowded House's three woodland dates. Tickets costing £30 plus booking free go on sale at 9am on Friday, 8 February, 2008.
