Reaction to Social Media ban announcement

At a school in Manchester there were mixed reactions to Prime Minister Keir Starmer's announcement that under-16s will be banned from major social media platforms.

The ban will include sites such as TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.

There will also be changes affecting chat functions on video games.

The new rules are expected to come into place in early 2027.

Nina spoke to pupils at a school in Manchester following the announcement.
