Formerly Strictly presenter Claudia Winkleman has swapped the dance floor and glitter ball, for the CBeebies studio.

She's set to become the latest famous face to read a special bedtime story.

The episode will be shown on Thursday 1 October as well as being available on BBC iPlayer.

The presenter will read Monkeypig, written and illustrated by Huw Aaron.

Is there a book or celebrity you'd like to see taking part? Let us know in the comments.

Claudia has three children, Jake and Matilda who are now adults, and Arthur a teenager.

Speaking about her family and watching her children grow up, she said: "When it comes to my kids, I've loved all the chapters.

"I love them when they are little, I love them when they are squishy, I love them when they are toddlers, I also love them when they are 23, like my eldest."

She added: "I am a deep embarrassment to my children because I'm too orange, my lipstick is too white and I wear too much black, so they find me excruciating and that's just how it should be.

"I embarrass them but that's our job. So if you find your parents embarrassing that's good, it means they're smashing it."

What's Monkeypig about?

Monkeypig follows the story of Molly, who lives happily among the monkeys in the jungle, but she's hiding a big secret: she's really a pig.

But soon another character called Norman suspects an imposter has infiltrated the group, so he puts everyone through a series of monkey tests.

Will Molly stay undetected, or will her true identity be revealed? You'll have to read the book for yourself or save the date for Claudia's story to find out.

It will be shown on Thursday 1 October at 6.50pm.
