It feels like the long, hot summer is finally over and cosy season is nearly here.

Which of course means, the time for good telly is once more upon us.

So, as the leaves get crunchier and the air gets colder, what TV shows are you most looking forward to getting under some blankets and watching?

Strictly will be back cha-cha-cha-ing back onto our screens from Saturday 19 September.

Presenter Emma Willis, professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe are taking the place of former hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

The chase for the famous Glitterball Trophy will last until Christmas, playing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

A fresh batch of bakers are dusting off their baking mitts and dusting on their icing sugar, preparing for the new series of Bake Off.

The classic bake off recipe has been mixed up. This series will be served with a Dame Prue Leith reduction, and a fresh garnish of TV cook Nigella Lawson.

AKA, Prue's left and Nigella is the new judge.

She'll be judging alongside Paul Hollywood, and both are joined by presenters Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

The new contestants have already been announced, and include a children's doctor, a law student, and a hairdresser.

The Great British Bake Off returns on Tuesday 22 September at 8pm on Channel 4

Calling all mythology fans.

Season three of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be released on 20 November on Disney+.

It's the first time that the third book in the series by author Rick Riordan - The Titan's Curse - comes to screen.

There's a Christmas treat for all Harry Potter fans this winter.

The first series of the new TV show made by HBO is coming out on Christmas Day.

It'll focus on the first book by JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Around 32,000 children auditioned for the lead roles in this remake of the world-famous Potter universe.

Blue Planet will return to our screens by the end of the year, the third instalment of the nature series.

It will of course be narrated by legendary presenter and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, and will focus on stories of adaptation and resilience in underwater worlds.

We've not got an exact date on when Blue Planet III will be available to watch on BBC One and iPlayer, other than it WILL be out this year.
