Spider-Man: Brand New Day filmed in Glasgow

Some of the action took place outside the Little Tuscany restaurant on St Vincent Street in Glasgow
When news of a runaway tank reaches Spider-Man (played by actor Tom Holland) he's quickly swinging through New York City streets to save the day.
But those New York streets are not in New York at all, they were actually filmed in Glasgow!
Spider-Man actually swings along Bothwell Street between Pitt Street and Hope Street, and on St Vincent Street.

Some of the action later takes place on Hutcheson Street between Trongate and Wilson Street in Glasgow
As the chase scene continues, Spidey meets The Punisher played by Jon Bernthal - who is sometimes a help, but more often a hindrance - as he collides with Spider-Man in his van.
This part of the action takes place on Hutcheson Street between Trongate and Wilson Street.

The signage for Chaakoo Bombay Cafe on St Vincent Street in Glasgow was left in the film, much to the delight of its owners
With many businesses featuring in the film, Chaakoo Bombay Cafe on St Vincent Street - whose now-famous signage wasn't changed or covered up during filming or in post production - wrote on instagram:
"Not saying we're the star of the new Spider-Man film... but if you keep your eyes peeled, you might just spot us in the background."

The boatyard itself is known as Turk's Shipyard.
