Norfolk's rural landscape is under threat by mass strategic development.

The population of south Norfolk is set to rise by more than 12% over the next decade, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics, external (ONS).
It's predicted all parts of the county will see an increase but the biggest impact is likely to be in Norwich, Breckland and the south of the county, meaning more pressure on housing and services.

Quote MessageYou have to have a long-term plan... once you've got an idea of how many houses, you can communicate that to the water companies, the electricity companies - it takes 10 to 20 years to sort bits of infrastructure out - we're planning and have delivered between 1,000 and 1,500 homes for each of the last 10 years or so and that was from a plan starting in 2006."
