It's fair to say we're unlikely to ever see a semi-final like it.

It started with a knife-edge banishment, swept through a challenge featuring pickled celebrities' heads, and finished with an unbelievable round table confession.

And with two traitors seeking to avoid the lens of the remaining five faithful, the decision of who they'll murder overnight is likely to be series-defining.

There's 24 hours for us to mull it all over, before the series final arrives at 20:00 on Friday night.

That brings our live coverage here to a close, but you can rest assured we'll be back with you tomorrow to soak up all the drama. See you then, and sweet dreams Michael Sheen.

It's finely balanced going into the finale. Genuinely can't call it.

I fear for our Michael tonight...but if he makes it through the turret, I think he'll win it with Blunty.

  3. James Blunt is on the chopping blockpublished at 21:20 GMT 29 October

I think James Blunt is the safest murder.

The traitors cannot touch Michael and he knows it.

This is lining up to be a Kenny solo win out of nowhere!

  4. The Traitors Uncloaked unpacks a dramatic semi-final - watch livepublished at 21:11 GMT 29 October

At the end, Michael and Maya - the first of the two celebrities to enter the church at the start of the series - are left together under the stars.

Michael is pretty certain now that Maya's a traitor, but will he make it through the night to share his instinct over croissants and coffee at breakfast?

We'll have to tune in to Friday's final to find out.

In the meantime, Ed Gamble is here with today's episode of Uncloaked to unpack all the madness of the last hour. You can follow along by tapping watch live at the top of the page.

  5. There'll be one more murder tonight - but who will the traitors choose?published at 21:06 GMT 29 October

    Ah, that looks nice.

There's time before bed for a firepit nightcap. Send one our way Claudia.

They all stand as Claudia joins with a glass of fizz, featuring a bobbing raspberry.

It's all nice and harmonious, but sadly, there'll be one final murder tonight she tells the group.

    Sweet dreams.

  6. The faithful are woeful, but that's a series-defining momentpublished at 21:03 GMT 29 October

    Warning: This post contains spoilers

    The most decorum ever seen.

    James has been banished.

I think it’s rich of the faithful to celebrate that. They are woeful at this game, three traitors caught and two have been admissions.

    That’s a series-defining moment there.

Maya looks RAGING by the way.

  7. It's heating up for Maya after that bombshellpublished at 21:03 GMT 29 October

Is the heat really gone from Maya?

James and Romesh have a short conference in the hallway after the round table, and they're still pointing the finger at the Love Island star.

Meanwhile, Michael's busy once again expecting to be murdered. Give yourself a break, Mike.

  8. Is that a win for the faithful?published at 21:00 GMT 29 October

    I really don't know.

James Acaster might have said he wanted to help the faithful, but he has done a huge favour to Kenny and Maya's chances by taking away some of the heat they'd been facing.

    Everyone's speechless here.

    A traitor's first!

    OK.

That was a genuinely jaw-dropping moment.

James Acaster admitted he was a traitor. I don't even know what to think. Even the music is too much to bear right now.

  11. A proper bombshell at the round tablepublished at 20:55 GMT 29 October

    Adam Goldsmith
    Live reporter, frightened faithful

    A bombshell from Acaster!

    He admits it.

He says he was made a traitor AT THE ROUND TABLE.

He says he's always wanted to be a faithful, and everyone is lost.

  12. Michael points both fingerspublished at 20:54 GMT 29 October

    Warning: This post contains spoilers

    A joint attack!

Michael joins the anti-Maya and James Acaster party as he points both fingers.

"If you are traitors you've done it brilliantly," he tells the pair, admitting he had no suspicions until today.

We're a few episodes late, but the murder of Ross Kemp is finally coming back to haunt the traitors.

Maya's defence is that the library - where she and James sat with Ross - isn't the only place he could have been killed, but the forensics are closing in.

Surely we aren't seeing joined-up thinking based on rational evidence? What's happened to the faithful?!

  13. Michael hits the nail on the headpublished at 20:53 GMT 29 October

A green banner showing Reece's portrait, captioned: Reece - Series 4 faithful

Michael is ON THE MONEY with Maya and James!

He needs to survive this table.

If he does the traitors are suddenly in trouble.

  14. Could it be James Blunt that saves the day?published at 20:51 GMT 29 October

    Adam Goldsmith
    Live reporter, frightened faithful

Michael's says he's amazed he's yet to be murdered, but he admits he's been wrong a lot.

Essentially, he's saying he's too rubbish as a faithful to be murdered. Fair enough.

James Blunt opens himself up to questions next, and Romesh wants to know why the singer has made so many mistakes.

Blunt admits he's been forcing his theories too forcefully, and now I'm starting to feel bad for taking the mick out of him.

In fact, he might finally have arrived - he points the finger at James Acaster and Maya for scooting under the radar too often.

  15. The faithfuls are in turmoilpublished at 20:49 GMT 29 October

A green banner showing Reece's portrait, captioned: Reece - Series 4 faithful

They're clinging onto Michael being a traitor here, purely because they have nothing else.

This goes to show how masterful these traitors have played this game.

Pressure is ramping on Leigh-Anne here, the faithfuls are in turmoil.

  16. Give Kenny an Oscar!published at 20:48 GMT 29 October

Kenny's butter-wouldn't-melt face is sending me.

"As a Traitor myself, I'd have gotten rid of you," he earnestly tells Michael Sheen at the round table.

    Someone give Kenny an Oscar.

  17. Let the round table begin - and may the theories flypublished at 20:47 GMT 29 October

It's round table time already, and the tension is building as the prize fund stands at £64,500.

"We need to bring every single name and theory possible to the table," traitor Kenny begins.

And it's this series' big dog Michael Sheen who volunteers himself first.

    Let the attacks begin.

  18. Keep cool, calm and collected at the round tablepublished at 20:46 GMT 29 October

A green banner showing Fiona's portrait, captioned: Fiona - Series 4 secret traitor

With so few contestants left, there'll be eyes one everyone at some point during tonight's round table.

They need to stay calm and measured.

  19. Theories galore in the castlepublished at 20:44 GMT 29 October

    Adam Goldsmith
    Live reporter, frightened faithful

After that brief interval, we're back to discussing theories over food as the characters delve off into different rooms in the castle.

The two remaining women Maya and Leigh-Anne swap ideas as Maya tries to steer the heat away from her own treacherous trio.

Meanwhile James Blunt is honing in on the murder in plain sight of Ross Kemp well, and he's pointing the finger at the other James, asking him to defend himself.

But hang on a minute, has Michael just nailed it? If I was a traitor I'd be playing it like James or Maya, and maybe Kenny as well, he says.
