Storm Boelo's high winds have forced the cancellation of 22 flights due to leave Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) today.
LBA, the highest commercial airport in the UK, told those due to fly to check the flight's status before attending the airport.
As of 13:00 GMT, 16 flights due to arrive at the airport - sitting 681ft (208m) above sea level - have also been cancelled.
"We'd like to thank all customers for their patience and understanding while our teams work through these challenging conditions," an LBA spokesperson has said.
A Met Office yellow wind warning is in place in West Yorkshire until 21:00, with gusts of about 55mph recorded near the airport today.
