  1. More than 500 police deployed, Met sayspublished at 13:25 BST

The Metropolitan Police says today's parade is one of its largest policing operations of the year.

More than 500 officers will be deployed alongside specialist search and drone teams, it says.

A dispersal zone is in place, meaning officers have the power to ask people to leave the area for 48 hours. The Met says this is to prevent anti-social behaviour.

"We want everyone attending to enjoy the day safely," Commander Stuart Bell, the officer leading the public order operation, says.

"We expect the vast majority of those attending on Sunday to do so safely and responsibly. However, anti-social behaviour, violence or any other type of criminality will not be tolerated. Officers will take action against anyone attempting to cause disruption or harm."

"Last night would have been a bonus. But it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t take anything away from this party. I’m so proud of this team."

Drayton Park and Essex Road: Both National Rail stations will be closed.

TfL is advising the following stations are likely to be less busy than those nearer the parade:

    • Manor House
    • Archway
    • Angel
    • King's Cross St Pancras

    The following bus routes will be shortened: 17, 21, 91, 106, 153, 236, 253, 254, 259, 263, 310 and N263. This first comes from James, who says:

"It’s been a fantastic season for Arsenal. Incredible achievement to win the league after 22 years and to get to two other finals, so close to a domestic or European double shows how far Arteta has taken this club.

"The culture and atmosphere among fans and the tie in with the club is brilliant.

"I'm looking forward to the celebrations and parade today."

Here's a bit more about Arsenal Women winning the first-ever Women's Champions Cup

The team beat the Brazilian side Corinthians 3-2 in February, with goals from Olivia Smith, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Caitlin Foord.

Speaking after the game, captain Kim Little said she was proud of her players: "It's great to get the win. We showed incredible character and resilience to lose the goal right at the end and come back in extra time. The girls did great.

"It's obviously a unique experience, it being the first Champions Cup. We'll take a lot from winning today and getting a trophy."

  11. The two games that clinched victory for Arsenal FCpublished at 12:33 BST

In the end, it came down to two games to see the Gunners win the league.

Arsenal played their second-last game of the league on 18 May, defeating Burnely 1-0.

It was enough to retain their lead in the league, and meant their rivals Manchester City had to win their next match. A draw or a loss would mean Arsenal had done enough to win.

The next day, there were nerves for thousands, who filled pubs and north London streets to watch and see if history would be made.

Ultimately, it was a draw between Man City and Bournemouth - winning Arsenal the trophy.

The team was together at their training ground to watch the City game, and videos showed the room erupting after their win.

It's a whole club parade for Arsenal FC and Arsenal Women's, which kicks off at 14:00 BST and is set to be attended by hundreds of thousands of fans.

Back in February, the women's team won the first ever installment of the Fifa Women's Champions Cup in a showdown against Brazilian side Corinthians.

And earlier this month, Arsenal FC celebrated winning the Premier League when Manchester City drew with Bournemouth, meaning Arsenal could no longer be beaten in points. It marked their first Premier League win in 22 years.

Today, both teams will be on the buses, bringing their trophies home.

We'll bring you a more in depth look at each of the victories soon, stay tuned.

Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice has said he's proud of the Gunners' performances this season and spoke of the hurt the players were feeling after losing on penalties to Paris St-Germain in Saturday’s Champions League final.

"It's devastating to lose a Champions League final on penalties," he told TNT Sports yesterday, adding:

"We're trying to take perspective on how far we've come as a group. It has been an incredible season, we gave it absolutely everything, we took the game to penalties. It's a lottery, it's football.

"We win together, we lose together, I'm so proud of these boys. I can't speak highly enough of everyone. It's been an incredible journey this season. We will be back.

"We got over the line in the Premier League, which was a dream come true. This would've been one step further and it wasn't meant to be, but we keep building. We keep going, we keep staying positive. That's one thing about this group; it won't define us."

  14. PSG beat Arsenal in Champions League finalpublished at 12:10 BST

    Michael Emons
    Sport reporter

    Paris St-Germain 1-1 Arsenal (4-3 on penalties)

While today is about Arsenal celebrating their first Premier League victory for 22 years, the team had a chance to do something they had never done before on Saturday and become European champions.

They made the perfect start, scoring in the sixth minute through a powerful strike from Kai Havertz to the delight of the Gunners fans who had travelled to Budapest, Hungary.

Mikel Arteta’s side restricted reigning champions Paris St-Germain to just one shot on target in the first half, but PSG dominated possession and pushed for an equaliser.

It came in the 65th minute when Ousmane Dembele converted a penalty after Cristhian Mosquera had fouled PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Arsenal thought they should have had a penalty of their own in extra-time as PSG defender Nuno Mendes tangled with Noni Madueke, but referee Daniel Siebert waved away Arsenal protests.

Eberechi Eze fired wide in the penalty shootout, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya then saved from Mendes.

However, defender Gabriel, taking his first competitive penalty for the Gunners, shot over as PSG won 4-3 on penalties to retain their title.

From 14:00 BST, both Arsenal men's and women's teams will take to buses and be paraded through the streets of north London, showing off the Premier League trophy and the Women's Champions Cup on the way.

It's a chance for the fans to celebrate the historic men's team win, it's first in 22 years, with the players themselves.

And what a day it's set to be.

Fans have been filling the streets of Islington, north London since early this morning, and it's set to be a busy one.

Expect music, entertainment, confetti and massive crowds - and some very happy Arsenal players. I'm personally hoping we also see Win, the team's Labrador.

It's a few hours until things get going but we'll use that time to remind you how Arsenal got here and what to expect today. We'll also take a look at last night's Champions League final, which Arsenal lost to Paris Saint-Germain.
