Utoeya survivor: 'I couldn't see myself dying that day'

A survivor of last summer's shooting spree on the Norwegian island of Utoeya has described his attempts to escape in a rowing boat, only to be shot at as he fled.

Anders Behring Breivik, 33, admits killing 69 people at a youth summer camp, and eight in a bomb attack in Oslo on 22 July 2011. But he denies criminal responsibility.

Eivind Rindal has been in court to hear Breivik give evidence, and described him as a "extremely, painfully, terribly efficient" killer.
